Shraddha Das is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Telugu films.
Starting her career down south, Shraddha Das's first film Sidhu from Srikakulam has been a hit.
But the beginning of her actual career as an actress starts with Sai Om Films much talked about maiden venture Lahore. Touted to be the most authentic sports film ever made in india, Lahore has already won Awards at 42nd Worldfest, Houston International Film festival. It has been directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan who has already won the prestigious Most Aspiring Filmmaker award at Filmmakers International Film Festival, UK and has been produced by Vivek Khatkar. Shraddha will be seen playing a Pakistani character in the film, cast opposite Aanaahad who has won several awards for his performance in Lahore at international film festivals like Salento International Film festival and Tenerife International Film Festival.
The film releasing on March 19, 2010 has the biggest hollywood studio Warner Bros. Pictures distributing it. Lahore is being considered as a dream debut for this tollywood doll.
Lahore also features seasoned actors like Farouque Shaikh, Nafisa Ali, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Sushant Singh, Kelly Dorji, Saurabh Shukla, Mukesh Rishi, Ashish Vidyarthi to name a few.
Shraddha Das is also known as a 'sequel queen' in south because of acting in Arya 2 and Mantra 2 as heroine, which are sequels to the biggest blockbusters and will be released in 2009. She played the female lead in Adhineta, her sixth film in Telugu with hero Jagapati Babu and Director Samudra. Currently,she plays the other female lead in the remake of blockbuster 'Maro charithra' produced by Dil raju, opposite Varun Sandesh.
