Brad Pitt Biography

Born December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri, the eldest of three children in a devoutly Southern Baptist family. His father, Bill Pitt, owned a trucking company and his mother, Jane Pitt, was a family counselor. Pitt originally aspired to be an advertising art director, studying journalism at the University of Missouri. However, the young college student had other quiet aspirations, the product of a childhood love of movies, which finally seemed tangible his last semester at university when he realized, "I can leave." On a whim, Pitt dropped out of college, packed up his Datsun, and headed West to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles, just two credits shy of a college degree.

Pitt told his parents he intended to enroll in the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, but instead spent the next several months driving a limousine—chauffeuring strippers from one bachelor party to the next, delivering refrigerators, and trying to break into the L.A. acting scene. He joined an acting class and, shortly after, accompanied a classmate as her scene partner on an audition with an agent. In a twist of fate, the agent signed Pitt instead of his classmate. After weathering only seven months in Los Angeles, Pitt had secured an agent and regular acting work.

Pitt's first jobs came in television, appearing in episodes of Dallas, the daytime soap Another World, the sitcom Growing Pains, and in 1990's short-lived Fox Television series, Glory Days. In 1989, Pitt played Billy Canton, the drug-addicted pimp of a teenage runaway, played by Juliette Lewis, in the NBC made-for-television movie Too Young to Die. Pitt and Lewis (9 years his junior at age 16) started dating and eventually moved in together.

Pitt made his big screen debut in 1989's horror/slasher film Cutting Class with Donovan Leitch, and played a teen track star in Sandy Tung's Across the Tracks, but it was a well-timed bit part in a controversial Hollywood film that pushed him into the glare of instant stardom. Pitt's performance as a renegade, sugar-tongued hitchhiker who gets picked up by the two title characters in Ridley Scott's Thelma and Louise (1991) grabbed universal attention despite only a few minutes worth of screen time. Pitt's combination of charming bad boy charisma and sexual playfulness (particularly in a fiery love scene with Geena Davis) secured him as a genuine sex symbol (and wore out the rewind button on many a VCR).

Pitt's next few films failed to boost his acting credibility and establish him as more than just a pretty face in Hollywood. He appeared in The Favor (1992) with Elizabeth McGovern, Tom CiCillo's directorial debut, Johnny Suede (1992), and the unconvincing, half-animated Cool World (1992).

Prince William and beautiful Kate Middleton to marry on 29th april 2011

Prince William and his fiance Kate Middleton, who announced their engagement last month, will get married on Friday 29th April, it was announced Tuesday.

The couple -both 28- have chosen Westminster Abbey in the spring for the location of their big day.

St James’s Palace sources ruled out any date before Tuesday 26 April  because of Lent and Bank Holidays, according to British tabloid the sun.

Downing Street announced today workers will get an extra day off for the nuptials, which will follow the Easter Monday Bank Holiday on 25 April.

Prince William and Kate middleton were not in London as the details were confirmed.

He is shift on a RAF search and rescue pilot in Anglesey,North Wales.

She is expected to return from Wales to her family home in Bucklebury, Berks, later today.

The couple spent yesterday at their isolated farmhouse in Anglesey.

“prince william and Kate middleton both view this process rather like tooth extraction,” said one royal insider. “They want to get back to a life of relative normality as soon as possible to ‘get it over with and get back to our quiet life’, which is sweet but unrealistic.

“They know what they want.”

Recent reports claimed the nuptials will cost the British taxpayer around $20m.

“When all is said and done, this wedding will likely cost the British taxpayers over $20 million,” a source said.It will be the biggest wedding of all time, even bigger than William’s mum, Diana’s _and the price will be bigger, too.“You really can’t compare this wedding to any other celebrity’s.

“The only other couple in the world that might even come close is if Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married, but even then this will be bigger.”

Kate Middleton was recently assigned a pair of female detective that’ll cost around $300,000 a year.

“Kate Midlleton now has two female detectives rotating shifts with her 24/7,” a source said.

“They are like the British version of Cagney and Lacey. Two of the finest officers in the force who will not only protect the future princess but have also been trained to blend in.

“Kate Middleton has gone from being a ordinary citizen to one of the most high profile people in the Whole world.

The Hollywood actress – who raises six children with her long-term partner Brad Pitt – believes open romances can work just as well as monogamous relationships, if both partners agree to it.

The 34-year-old met Pitt on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' in 2005 while he was still married to the actress Jennifer Aniston. She told Das Neue magazine: "I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship. It's worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards.

"Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other." However, she added that the couple have a fiery relationship at times. She said: "The sparks fly at home if the nice Brad fails to see that he's wrong and reacts in a defiant way. Then I can get so angry that I tear his shirt."

It was disclosed last month that Jolie and her father Jon Voight are attempting to reconcile after a public feud of nearly eight years. Voight, 70, the actor, said that he and his movie star daughter have got back in touch and are tentatively trying to rebuild their relationship. The pair have been involved in one of the most famous family feuds in showbusiness since 2001, when Voight told Access Hollywood that Jolie had "serious mental problems" and pleaded with her to seek help.
