Suriya busy in his brother marriage!

Now that Suriya has completed '7am Arivu' and K V Anand is ready with the complete script of 'Maatran', it's time for the duo to start the film. We learn that the movie would go on floors after the wedding of Karthi, Suriya's younger brother.

"Suriya is extremely busy these days making arrangements and inviting friends and relatives for Karthi's marriage in Coimbatore (July 3) and reception in Chennai (July 7). He will be free only in the second week of July," say sources.

"Before the shoot, Suriya has to do some homework for his getup in Maatran, as Anand has asked for a more suave and stylish look of him. The shoot may start with a song which will be shot in an exotic locale," they add.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram's AGS Entertainment, 'Maatran' brings together Suriya and Anand after the super hit 'Ayan'. Other members of the 'Ayan' team - music composer Harris Jayaraj and writers Subha are also there in 'Maatran'.

Suriya starrer ‘7am Arivu’ release date!

Finally we hear it from the horse’s mouth. The release date of Suriya starrer ‘7am Arivu’ has been a long wait for the fans. With A.R. Murugadoss making his way back to Kollywood after a sabbatical, the expectations got bigger for the collaboration of ‘Ghajini’ team. It was expected that the film would hit screens in April-May as the producers felt summer as the high time for theatres.

However, as the production works got postponed due to various reasons, the makers decided to postpone the release by July. A.R. Murugadoss has mentioned that the post production works are progressing rapidly and will be completed by next month. The audio launch is scheduled to be held by mid June. Harris Jayaraj has promised to delight his fans, who are curiously looking out for the album following his huge success with ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ and ‘Ko’.

Suriya starrer Maatraan is ready to kick start and the unit is all set to shoot a schedule near Pakistan border. Director K V Anand is all geared up for this project and the expectations are high as the duo is paring up after the blockbuster Ayan.

After shortlisting from a long list of actresses, K V Anand has finally zeroed in on Kajal Agarwal as the female lead for Maatraan.

S.Soundar Rajan who has wielded the camera for movies like Ananthapurathu Veedu, Aadi and Billa in Telugu has been roped in for the project. Editing is by Antony and Art direction is by Rajeevan.

Actor Karthi, one of the most eligible bachelors in Kollywood, got engaged on April 29. The star, along with his brother actor Suriya and other family members, was at Kumarasamy Goundampalayam, a village near Kodumudi in Erode District, for the ceremony.

 

 

He is engaged to Ranjani, a post graduate in English Literature from Stella Maris College in Chennai.Her parents, Chinnasamy and Jothimeenakshi, are natives of Erode District.

A large number of men and women from the village and neighbouring areas gathered at the village temple, where Karthi and his family members offered prayers before leaving for the bride's home.

Over 200 guests participated in the ceremony. Karthi and Ranjani will tie the knot on July 3.

Suriya with super machine in ‘7am Arivu’

When there are many theories doing rounds about the storyline of ‘7am Arivu’, we have something exclusive about the Suriya-starrer directed by A R Murugadoss, which is interesting too.

 

If sources in the unit are to be believed, the film revolves around a ‘super machine’, which is brought to India by the baddie, a character played by Vietnamese Johnny Tri Nguyen.

“The machine starts giving some problems to Suriya and Shruthi Haasan. From then on, a suspense-filled journey gets a kickstart which will take the audience to never seen before places,” sources maintain.

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, ‘7am Arivu’ has music by Harris Jayaraj. Suriya is playing a triple role in ‘7am Arivu’ and one of them will be that of a Buddhist monk.
